Q. What are typical turnaround times?
A. Peridot often produces prototypes in a few days. Short run production in 1-2 weeks is common. Hard tooling lead times typically 4-6 weeks
Q. What file formats can you use?
A. Peridot’s primary CAD software is Solidworks. We also use Autocad. Thus we can import practically any 2D or 3D file format such as: .igs, .sldprt, .dwg, .dxf, .stl, .prt, .x_t etc.
Q. Do you provide design services?
A. Peridot consults with our clients on materials and manufacturability but we are not an industrial design firm. Should you require that service we would be happy to recommend one of our design firm partners.
