Facilities
Expansion
(Spring
2008)
Peridot has outgrown its current facilities and will
be undergoing a complete facilities renovation and
expansion this spring.
By expanding the current facilities from 18,000 sq.
ft. to 30,000 sq. ft., Peridot will be able to consolidate
their operations in one facility, as well as relocate
their Class 10000 clean room to the expanded facilities.
The expansion presents Peridot with an opportunity
to optimize workflow and processes, and Peridot has
hired consultants to determine this optimization.
In addition to offering the market more capabilities,
the expansion may also allow Peridot the luxury of
dedicated customer-specific assembly areas.
Peridot will not close at all during the renovation
and expansion.
The renovation and expansion will be completed in
the spring of 2008, and Peridot expects to occupy
the updated facilities in late spring or early summer.
